Portrait Photography Workshop
Monday 18th October - Location Ushaw Historic House and Gardens , County Durham
In response to a year long portrait project “Echoes and Highlights”
Full day portrait photographic workshop, working in studio and on location within the grounds of Ushaw Historic House and Gardens to create stunning portraits.
Working with 2 professional models throughout the day, using my preferred studio and on location lighting setups!
From an idea right through to the way I colour grade the final image.

The day will consist of
7:30am - registration and get to know you
8.00am - Informal introductions and brief overview of - Echoes &
Highlights portrait project and Lee’s portfolio and experience
8.30am - Studio session to include
Hands on intro to my lighting and the various modifiers I prefer
Use of tripods, stands, booms etc… All shot with Sony cameras triggering Elinchrom lights.
12noon Buffet Lunch and refreshments
12.30pm - leave the studio with all the kit needed to shoot portraits on location in and around Ushaw
Again working with both models to achieve strong narrative portraits
using lighting and maybe a smoke machine to help achieve that cinematic look
4pm - return to studio for an overview of the day
5pm Workshop ends

Please bring your own camera kit and a spare SD card, suitable warm clothing and shoes for outside
